Robert "Bob" Olson founded Retirement Resources, Inc. in 1997 alongside his son Eric, building on a career that began in the early 1970s with Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company. After training as a General Agent in Philadelphia, Bob brought the family to Jacksonville in 1974 to manage Penn Mutual's local office, and in the early 1980s became one of the first to work in the fledgling 401(k) industry.
In 1997, Bob launched Retirement Resources to bring independent, fiduciary retirement planning to Jacksonville families. Bob is now retired, and the firm is led today by his sons Eric and Kirk Olson together with Brandon Cowart, who continue to operate Retirement Resources in the same family-owned, independent tradition Bob established nearly three decades ago.
